Dr. Wayland is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate, where he finished Magna Cum Laude. While attending Palmer, Dr. Wayland was elected President of the Pi Tau Delta Honor Society, the Student World Chiropractic Alliance, as well as the Student International Chiropractors Association. Upon graduation he founded The Upper Cervical Institute of Chicago, and also became a head mid-west physiology instructor for the American Polygraph Institute. Dr. Wayland is joining us from Chicago as he trains with our very own Dr. Kessinger, to become a leader of the KCUCS (Knee Chest Upper Cervical Specific) Certification Program, a program dedicated to teaching and developing students and doctors in Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care. Dr. Wayland has led and participated with multiple KCUCS World Missions, a Christian organization dedicated to serving under privileged people around the World with Upper Cervical Care. He has just returned from The Dominican Republic on a recent trip where he led a team of 22 doctors, while they served nearly 7,000 patients with Upper Cervical Chiropractic.

 

Dr. Wayland is originally from Western New York. He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Buffalo. Dr. Wayland has spent many years prior to graduating with his Chiropractic Degree, as a personal trainer and nutritionist. Dr. Wayland has spent numerous years as an athlete. He has had much training in Mixed Martial Arts. While in Iowa he trained with the well known Militech Camp and fought in multiple Mixed Martial Arts Fights, where he finished with undefeated amateur record. He also wrestled throughout high school and in college. As a high school athlete he posted the second most wins in his high school’s record, and as a college athlete was named an Academic All American.
