My Children’s Best Friend was Their Toys and Games.

With my children I had no worry at all, because I would put them between their toys and games. In their toy room, it was packed with toys and games that at times they used to look so lost among them and they used to love it, that it used to give me so much time to carry out my works around the house and when my parents came over to them, they also used to find it easy and use the same pharse as mine. When I go shopping, the first place I must visit is the toy section, the stuffed toys used to be my children’s best spot as they used to cuddle them so tight and rub their faces into them and the shop keepers used to be so taken up with them, that they used to encourage them to cuddle more toys.  I also  bookedmarked many a toy directory online too.  A good toys and games directory will point you to all sorts of toys and games websites online.

As they got bigger, they gave up toys and then took to playing carroms, snakes and ladders, Ludo, Uno, Scramble, block building, cross words etc. They used to invite friends over from a tender age and play games like catch and throw, football, cricket, dolly’s games, all the barbie collections, dolly’s wedding and I could go on and on. It was so interesting to see them move from state to stage, a little bigger and better and they were always the sharing type and always gave their friends or cousins the first choice of toys and games. Thats what I love most about my children. Their sharing habits, so pure and innocent. Full of love and caring, no matter where a child came from, what back ground did not matter for them.
